How can you tell if you have gotten a good haircut? One way to tell is that a good cut should last at least a month.
You know your cut is good when that is the case.
When you have a good cut, others will comment. If no one tells you that your hair looks good after you have had it done, that is a good sign that it is not spectacular.
Your cut should also be easy for you to maintain.
When your cut does not last and there are too many “bad hair days,” it is time to rethink your style and sometimes your stylist.

Even if you work from home, dressing up will allow you to be more productive and act more professional at whatever you do. You really never know what will come up during the daytime and should always be prepared for the unexpected. If you are called away from your home office for any reason, you will be ready.
Studies have been conducted which indicate that dressing for work keep one focused on the tasks at hand and helps make the distinction between “being at home” and “working from home.” It will make you feel better even if no one sees you but you.

I actually never dreamed when I started using natural products years ago the effect it would have on me as I got older.
I was simply trying to feel good and look good as I went about my day to day activities.
Now, years later, I find that people think me 10 to 15 years younger that I actually am. It is because I feel good and can do things that generally the women my age cannot do.
I do feel terrific!! I do not have any aches and pains. I do not have any health issues that I know of and I can still wear high healed shoes, which I love.
I am constantly getting comments on my skin. It is still soft, supple, and youthful–although that is a relative term.
I met a woman the other day who had a great definition of “old”. Anyone is “old” who is 15 years older than you are.
That is so true.
Now the “natural” thing is the “in” thing. Everyone has a mineral makeup. However, most of them are powders and not the amazing liquid mineral makeup that I have been using for years. I do love the one I use. It is silky smooth, light reflecting, line reducing, and allows my skin to breathe. What a terrific combination!
It is all about the choices we make. I am glad I chose to follow the most natural path I could find.

Spring is here! Time to take stock and go shop–at least for a few items to brighten up your wardrobe and your life.
The really bright colors are in–bright blue, bright green, lemon yellow, turquoise, fuchsia, cherry and lilac. If these colors are complimentary to you, it is a good idea to shop this season because next year, it will be new and different colors.
You should always have a plan. Take inventory of your current wardrobe and see what items you can add that will update your look and allow for new combinations.
Print dresses, little cropped jackets that can be worn with either a skirt or jeans and full, flirty skirts are all the rage.
Wide-legged pants are the stylish at the moment. They are supposed to emphasize the waist but do not look good on everyone. Try them on in front of a three-way mirror to see if they are truly complimentary.
Brightly colored shoes and handbags to compliment your outfit are in abundance. Have fun and enjoy!

How you dress is important to getting ahead professionally. Impressions based in large part on your appearance are formed in seconds. Whether you like it or not your clothing speaks before you do. It pays to assess what message your clothes are sending and, if need, be, alter your personal packaging.
Dressing successfully can easily be done no matter what your budget with a little know how and some planning.
Even if you work from home, you should consider “dressing up” for the workday.
Many studies have shown that you will be more productive, better focused, and more professional when you dress the part even if no one sees you but you. It will help you mentally separate your “work at home” and your “home work.”

This is concealer for lids. It evens skin tone and makes eyes shadows last longer. No additional products required. Just apply foundation and dust lightly with powder before applying eye shadow.

Halloween is not my favorite holiday. In my opinion, way too much sugar is consumed. Twelve teaspoons of sugar will lower the bodies resistance to infection by 60% for up to 8 hours. And nearly everyone gets at least this much sugar each day during the Halloween week. As a result, everyone is sick–both adults and children.
What is so interesting is that most people do not even equate the intake of sugar with how they feel and look.
The American public has just spent over $30,000,000 on candy for halloween and will spend a great deal more on medicine and remedies to get over the colds, coughs, and flu created by eating so much sugar.
The other noticable side effects of eating so much sugar is that it effects the nervous system including the ability to sleep peacefully. It is not unusual to be nervous, depressed, hyper, or overly emotional.

Here are some suggestions to get the most out of shampooing.
First brush your hair to detangle and loosen grime and dead skin.
Wash and rinse your hair while you are in the shower rather than in the tub. Use warm rather than hot water. Hot water or hot anything is not a friend to your hair. Use the lowest possible water pressure.
Use only about a teaspoon of shampoo to start with. Add more if your hair is long or thick. Use your fingertips and massage the shampoo firmly into your scalp right up to the hairline. Then work through to the ends. Spend a few minutes on this for best results.
Rinse thoroughly. One of the major causes of dull hair is too much shampoo and not enough rinsing. It takes about a little bit of time to properly rinse out that small amount of shampoo, so use it sparingly and rinse, rinse, rinse.
Condition your hair as needed. Leave it on as long as your time permits.
